What food do you bring from home to LOS

I believe the hard pretzels were 'invented' in Reading, PA and came about as often is the case as the result of a mistake when making something else.

 

I also bring back pretzels because they are available, but very expensive in the LOS. This time I brought back some Snyder's too and whatever store brand was on sale. They are great to bring because if they break...no problem. :)

 

Used to get the pretzel rods for dipping in spicy mustard. Pretzels are usually very salty and great bar snacks because they make you thirsty.

My mum sent me an Xmas pudding (arrived on xmas morning, good old Thai GPO!), when I was staying in Patong beach, the mrs tried to cook it in a fish steamer, sort of worked ::

Time to pack:

 

bottle of champagne

cardboard box of red wine (3l)

3 big jars of jam (thai jam is horrible)

moutarde de Dijon

cheese (different kinds: French, Dutch)

Belgian chocolate, lots of it :o

several cans of small peas (Chumpon no have)

2 salamis

smoked salmon

coffee

"rode kool met appels"

 

Have 40 kg luggage allowance, won't fit
