Sarisin Posted July 11, 2005 Report Share Posted July 11, 2005 I believe the hard pretzels were 'invented' in Reading, PA and came about as often is the case as the result of a mistake when making something else. I also bring back pretzels because they are available, but very expensive in the LOS. This time I brought back some Snyder's too and whatever store brand was on sale. They are great to bring because if they break...no problem. Used to get the pretzel rods for dipping in spicy mustard.
