The detail is amazing and you can also tilt the bloody image! I have just discovered it and looking forward to retracing my steps in all the places around the world that I have visited. All the views can be sent by email and this is one that I sent to myself. You have been sent a picture of the earth taken with Google Earth (http://earth.google.com). Google Earth streams the world over wired and wireless networks enabling users to virtually go anywhere on the planet and see places in photographic detail. This is not like any map you have ever seen. This is a 3D model of the real world, based on real satellite images combined with maps, guides to restaurants, hotels, entertainment, businesses and more. You can zoom from space to street level instantly and then pan or jump from place to place, city to city, even country to country. Get Google Earth. pattaya127 Posted September 2, 2005 Report Share Posted September 2, 2005 real cool, my sister had sent me a blurry view of my Grandma town, but I think it selects areas of real sharpness, that was not too clear. Just now, I was able to see my own building, near Paris, and the gymnasium where i used to play tennis against the wall. Pattaya, was not able to zero in on Tepprasit. BKK grand palace was rather cool. You can really play with that thing. I hope eventually all aeras get the same sharpness, closing in. Ok, Now i try SF....
