tolsti
I have high blood pressure and kidney failure and occasionally suffer from gout. I take Allopurinol 100gms once a day as an ongoing preventative and in case of an attack I can only take Colchinine which is OK for kidney sufferers. It is excellent but you should take no more than 2 tabs a day.... basically the instructions are take 2 a day until you get diaorrhea. Then stop.... or as my consultant said 'take 2 a day until you shit yourself'' It is excellent and normally works within 12-18 hrs.
Bangkoktraveler
My pharmacist (in the USA) told me to take colchinine using the following formula "If it took 8 pills to get rid of the gout, take 10 pills. Always taqke 2 pills more then what you took the last time you had an attack.
Torneyboy
That could end up a lot of pills over the years if attacks are common....
Bangkoktraveler
You had better believe it. Last fall my dumb doctor put me on a dieuretic fo high blood pressure. That brought on the gout attacks, like one after another. Next life I got to come back as a doctor and/or lawyer. I got to be the fucker instead of the fuckee. Bangkoktraveler
Noop! Going to Urgent Care tomorrow morning. Right now, I feel I am totally fucked up. Back in November my knees swelled up so much, the skin broke. This allowed MRSA to enter. This infection cleared in February buck came back later with a vengance in both knees. The MRSA has cleared up but for the last few days, both knees have swollen so much that I could only raise my left foot only about 4" off the ground today. There has got to be a solution but beat the shit out of me because I don't know what it is.

Bangkoktraveler
Went to Urgent Care tonight. Found out MRSA is back for the 3rd time. Fark, the antibiotic regime is just too much but that is all I got. Shit one of them told me I should go and get some religion, that might help. They told of one guy who had it and passed it in to his wife. She got it on her vagina. Farked up world.
