Or do they think they can currry favour with the brownshirts? The Thais I've spoken to seem to think at night it is definitely dangerous with thievery, muggings etc. If they are morality police they should split. Reminds me of when I saw 2 Mormon guys walking down Soi Cowboy at night. The looks on their faces was priceless. A true test of their faith. Even cheaper suits than the average English teacher.
