I don't think pe7e is wrong. The clinical features of primary HIV infection occur 2-6 weeks after exposure and usually last 2-10 days. It is nonspecific in nature unless a diffuse rash and mucosal lesions develop. HIV tests become positive about 20-60 days after acute infection.
