Try MAI DTEM BAHT ...

 

For the English, it is as close as you'll get being "one slice short of a loaf" or a "one can short of a six pack" etc.

 

It derives from being one seleung short of a baht of gold and

 

means somebody is not with it or is mentally unstable. A bit more sophisticated than baa-baa-boh-boh.

 

However, it can offend people if they take offence

easily.
