Chillers
I'm staring at a dog turd. Why? Well I not normally obsessed with dog crap but last night my dog ate about half an ounce of gold. The Thai gf suggested that to make me look less like a "farang kii nok" (bird shit farang) we should buy gold chains. Before this I would proudly roam the streets in old shoes and a stained tshirt - not ashamed of my kii nokness. After spending my 6000 baht on a gold chain I was treated differently, new doors were opened for me, mercedes drivers smiled at me (instead of trying to run me down) and I felt welcome in the emporium. The world had became a magical place. This was until last night. Last night my gold chain was on the dog's menu. So now I sit, kii nok again - contemplating pulling apart dog shit. ..
LOL! Of course it is a piss take. But funny. B6k would be a microscopic gold chain at today's prices (~B11K/baht), likely next to invisible on a man. It would be ~0.5 baht in weight or ~8 grams. Heck, my wedding ring is 1 baht and is hardly ostentatious (is it, those who know me?). To be a proper Mr T lookalike, one needs at least a 5 baht bracelet and a few 5-7 baht necklaces . ..
That's what I said and that is the beauty part of the story. A half baht chain on a man would accentuate the vision of kee-nokedness he was "trying to avoid". Beautiful. Cheers, SD

Chillers
Darn it, I knew someone would catch me on the figures. Ok, it is "based on a true story".
Chillers
Yes sir, I lived there. The view of the Sydney harbour bridge was stunning from my 1 million $$ (Aud) North Sydney abode. Whilst sipping lattes with my high powered friends we would often mock those who lived south of the bridge.
