pattyy
If you get a chance and you re near Laos ,Vientiene has some cheap good French wines. If your in BKK you re just a train ride away and the $ you save will be worth the tic.

cavanami
For me, the french wines usually have too low alcohol content. I always take a wine that is a min, of 13%. The Australian wines are usually a min. of 13%, so I do enjoy a few of them Next time I am in Laos, I will have a look!
cagedsoidog
I purchased Thai wine directly from vineyards on road coming from Hua Hin to Pattaya. White and red. Yes, Thailand makes wine.

Fatbastard
ND. Of course not, but thats what a good Ozzie red is for, the first bottle and then after that switch to the Thai wine for two more bottles and then to finish off a nice evening switch onto Lao kaaw.
