Fatbastard
MIke, I dunno what the shop name is but easy to find as you just walk through the main shop and out the back are quite a few open front shops. first one is where I normally go. As for transport, use one of the visa companies with a transport service, I prefer the first one in the block of shops on the LH side. But recently have just been using my own car, you can take it thru thai customs into no mans land, park it before Laos customs border, walk around and do you visa thing, load up the car and drive back. I usually go for Penfolds myself, Bin 389 is about 800/900 baht but you can also buy it in BKK for 5700 Baht !!! Sorry to hear ya got a crook one ND, but in future don't go for that French crap, stick to OZ and you will be right, after all its used to a bit of sun.
