When we go, wifey just plops me down there and comes back for me when she is finished shopping. She knows that shopping/heat/crowds make me cranky! If so other shops can also be open, but the whole market is for sure open on the weekend. Some (many?) shopowners also have shops in other parts of Bangkok open monday - friday.
