You can carry a lot of stuff in them. You can get more gear in a tuk tuk than a taxi?

Orangutan
Just being cautious. The only bird I want to be around is Chicken of the Sea. Tuna-taco hold the pubes please! -OT
dddave
If you are into plants, flowers and any kind of accessories such as planters, wednesday is the day; no crowds and many plant and flower vendors not there on weekends. If you happen to be landscaping a property, bring a pick-up, you'll get it all at one time for incredibly low prices.

Lusty
I thought that on my last visit,Chatuchak has become a rip off, even when I disappeared and let my GF do the buying. I thought much better deals could be had down at Pratunam.
elef
I agree, it's more and more a tourist trap. I wanted to buy a leather hat once and the guy in the shop asked for 1800 baht and refused to come down in price. Next time I went to the same shop and asked for the price an other man was there and asked for 200 baht which I paid directly. ::
OCgringo
sad to say , but I think any place they speak English will have Tourist trap prices..... well maybe not that bad , but surely not Thai prices OC
