pe7e
The following excerpt taken from Mango Sauce provides plenty of reason to suspect google did not descend on NP entirely by accident, KS is far more trusting than I would be, given the circumstances. I emailed him (google) yet again to correct his latest mistake and I also appended a long list of famous-name websites that display Google Ads beside adult material far more explicit than anything that would ever appear on Mango Sauce. Still, the damage has already been done, and there is little to be gained from recriminations.

khunsanuk
Hi, "KS is far more trusting than I would be, given the circumstances." The thing is that making a big problem out of this is useless now. David said he send them a list of porn sites (and while I still have my doubts) I will just accept his word for it. Sanuk! You have a good point though and maybe I should restrict the nightlife pages to logged in users only? Sanuk! Apparently, that isn't good enough. Welcome, Amerikan Kristians. Nervous_Dog
KS - i remember when the board was banned on Delphi, yet thoose bad bad boys at nanapong lived on as did Singapore Sam and all the porn that was posted there. It seems your a target, which seems very unfair, I would hardly call this a adult site, when compared to others, DOG

Flashermac
Delphi pounced on Nanaplaza because it was one of their most successful boards, having the most traffic. As I recall Delfried simply announced one day that Nanaplaza would become a "pay for view" site. KS replied, "In a pig's arse" and set up Nanaplaza.com. It apparently was a trial balloon to see if Delfried could make money that way. But they quickly got the message and didn't try it with any other board. Their attempts to make NP "pay for view" had nothing to do with the content. I believe Nanaplaza was the only board they tried to do it to. khunsanuk
Hi, No, I believe there were 7 boards they used for 'testing purposes', each with a different characteristics. The members at the time caused a massive uproar on Delphi's support forums (several of them getting banned multiple times ), but in the end the decision was final. In the end it was a blessing in disguise for NP.com. I'm hoping we'll feel the same about this Google incident in another year. Sanuk!
drogon
So a suggestion 25 board members make a donation of 10$/month should work. Think that 10 bucks can just pay you 2 ladydrinks maybe just 1 depending on the place. Think that 10$ is the cost of an ice-cream in some places around the world. Drogon in a cynical mood. khunsanuk
Hi, "25 board members make a donation of 10$/month should work." It would, but seeing that we have only about 100 people who have ever donated, out of 14,000+ registered users and well... Anyway, I think I would also prefer keeping things free and having advertisers / sponsors pay for upkeep of the site. Sanuk!
