Testosterone now available as a cream!

After searching several pharmacies in BKK, I haven't been able to find [color:brown]"Derma-Test 100"[/color].

That's not an exhaustive search, but at several pharmacies in the Sukhumvit area where I inquired, none had heard of it, nor could they find it listed their catalogues.

 

But, Lowjit mentioned in his OP that this new product is applied by rubbing it on the forearms.

Hmmm ... very interesting.

 

I've been taking [color:purple]Andriol[/color] capsules (Testerone undecanoate) by mouth with positive results.

Here in BKK, Andriol is easily available at many pharmacies: about 170 baht per packet of 10 capsules.

Now I started wondering about absorption of Andriol thru the skin.

 

As an experiment, I used a sharp knife and carefully nicked one capsule of Andriol.

Then spread the oil on my forearms and rubbed them together.

 

The oil disappeared in a few moments of vigorous rubbing.

There was a little feeling of oil residue, but not enough to be annoying.

There was a little bit of odor -- a mild, musky smell -- that evaporated in about 30 minutes.

No problems so far.

 

What about the effects of administering Testosterone this way?

This is hardly a thorough study, but I've been doing this once or twice a day for the past two weeks.

I'm sleeping better, have more endurance in my exercise, and find myself a bit more aggressive (in a nice way) when in bed with my TGF.

Not huge changes, just subtle, but positive.

 

Are these changes the results of better absorption of Testosterone via topical application on my skin?

I don't know.

I'd appreciate comments from those who may know more about this, or anyone else who's tried it.

Perhaps our disagreement pertains more to the status quo of the attitude of American physicians and the health insurance industry itself.

 

For sure, one might encounter resistance with some GP's. Let me remind you that a doctor works for you, so basically, if you aren't satisfied with his/her services, seek another who is more receptive. Having said that, I realize that all might not be or have been as fortunate as I. I never had any health insurance plan that required referrals, so I was always free to see whomever I chose. And, if I saw a specialist who wasn't amenable to adequately addressing my health concern(s), I'd move on. Now I understand that many don't have that luxury today in America, where the health care system is in crisis due to skyrocketing costs, etc.

 

To address your question about a man with normal levels wanting to increase them, let me just say that with many men, when it comes to testosterone, they simply believe that "the more the better." I don't know too many guys (except doctors!) who would disagree. And, we both believe that all are entitled to their own opinions. I can't say with certainty that one would not be able to find a physician who would cooperate, although, for sure, it's much easier to achieve that goal over here than in the U.S. as testosterone is sold over the counter and can be self administered.

 

Here's an intersting note. Years ago on an evening national news clip in the States, I saw a feature about a doctor in California who was treating severely arthritic and depressed (etc.) guys with massive doses of testosterone. Several were shown practically bed ridden before therapy and then climbing mountains and running for execise a few weeks after treatment was initiated! Extremely high doses are capable of producing such results; however, without a doubt, it is not recommended by the vast majority of physicians.

I asked the owner of Top Pharmacy in Pattaya today about the availability of "Derma - Test 100" topical testosterone cream/lotion in Bangkok. I was surprised when they said it was not sold in Bangkok. I believe they are the first pharmacy in Thailand to carry this product, probably the reason why they offer it as a "promotion.'

 

If you don't visit Pattaya, you could give Top pharmacy a call to inquire if they would ship the product, perhaps to a pharmacy in Bangkok. If not, you could do a search for "Genesis Rejuvenation Products" or "Unigen Life Sciences" to see whether this product can be ordered via the internet.

To me, it's nature...your body drops off production of things for a natural reason. Whether or not artificially raising levels of stuff your body naturally slowed on producing, has a negative egffect in the long run remains to be seen I guess.

And all of those were either body-builder products or "sex" products web sites. _

And the "sex" products web sites all derive from Alibaba.com, a source for wholesale "closeouts" and discontinued products.

I was more worried about Lowjit's recent triple post, perhaps caused by a testosterone powered clicky clicky

 

In his OP Lowjit did mention this was a fairly new product. Out of curiosity did a Google search using "derma test 100" and quite a few results came up including:

Anyway, appears to be a new product just as Lowjit describes, interesting the different "search" results from the different engines...

If seriously interested, please call Top Pharmacy, ask for Nitsuda, the pharmacist who recommended this new product and sold it to me; and, have her explain it's newness, availability, marketing, etc. She's there just about every day (and evenings) except sundays on which day the pharmacy is closed. In Pattaya, their phone number is: 038 - 4299.

 

Beyond that, my email address is listed in my profile. Email me, I'll take a picture of the product and you can see it for yourself. When first offered to me, the pharmacist said it would take about two weeks to feel the benefits. I did find that to be the case.

 

BTW, as to administering the capsules normally taken by mouth topically, I don't believe it would cause any harm. A doctor who is familiar with the product would be better suited to provide comparative details; but, who knows? If you say it works for you, perhaps you've discovered a more cost effective method of achieving the goal we share in common.
