ThaiHome
Thai Immigration will not question you. There is a very good chance your airline will when you check in. Since you do not have a visa, they can go so far as to refuse to let you board unless you can prove onward travel within 30 days. TH
thalenoi
I have never filled in the departure card at all. No one has ever said anything to me. That is suppose to be filled out and signed when you depart, correct? Mine is left blank (fill in only the name and passport number). Same here. Suggestion: get yourself a tourist visa, use it on first entry and get your pasport stamped for 30 days on second entry, this will avoid you possible hassle at check in Australia (return ticket date within 30 days if you don't have a visa)
Alfmaz
Thanks for the Pic's, are these new cards as I did not go to Thailand since 2005 March, when I was there last it was a little book type 1 page or are there different types for flights
..
This is a new card since then. It is used on all international arrival flights. This one is two pages, the last pix is the reverse of the first page (arrival form). Cheers, SD
PP
well, good luck with that one. I was in vietnam about 3 yrs ago and you had to apply WELL in advance for your entry visa. And at that time you had to specify exact date, location and means of entry and exit from vietnam... and there were rather severe penalties for failing to keep those dates... maybe things have changed or maybe it was cuz i am US citizen? Now you can get a visa for Viet Nam in Bangkok same day issue but they do still require you to enter and exit at the specified ports.
