dddave
I don't use "Chat", but today I had a notice on my Gmail home page that said CHAT had been disabled by a "Local Administrator" Now, close to midnight, the notice has dissappeared. This AM, I sent out several HOTMAIL emails that I originated and addressed, I also replied to three emails using the "Reply" button. All three of the "Reply" emails got "Notice of delivery failure" from Hotmail, the emails I originated went thru. I wonder if "Reply" uses the same function as "Chat" and that is why they bounced. It appears that the government restricted internet Chat for at least a portion of today (Thursday). Did anybody else experience this?

..
Daughters use MSN Messenger to chat with their friends in BKK. They report no issues with connecting with whomever they want to in BKK from here in US. And their friends are always online it seems. Cheers, SD
khunsanuk
Hi, Yeah, other than some thai forums being shut for a while, I have not noticed any restrictions on Internet access. Sounds like what dddave encountered was just a glitch. Sanuk!
Dumsoda
I've experienced major issues with SMS's over the past 3 days. I'm using my Oz phone and sending from Bkk. I know of at least 5 messages that have been registered as sent, but have not been received by the intended party....just glad it hasn't affected my Social life....lol...
