USA aid to Thailand?

Thu Sep 21, 3:33 PM ET

NEW YORK (AFP) - The United States is reviewing its aid to Thailand following the military coup which toppled the government of prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, a senior US official said...

OK, what aid? parking the Navy ships in Pataya?

Sending all the US punters here? :dunno:

Hell, Thailand has more $$$ than the USA and far less debt...they should be sending aid like to New Orleans and other needy areas in the USA.

Ha ! , good reply Chuck , our current regime here in the States has no clue as to who it's real allie's are , with the exception of the poor Brit's , whom seem handcuffed to their alliance to the US , it seems Dub'ya and company are just looking for the next " re-fueling stop " for our war machine... :banghead:

Non-military assistance to Thailand is $14 million, he said, adding that in light of the coup, the administration is reviewing the portion of that figure which goes directly to the Thai government. He was unable to provide that figure.

Casey said a $4 million military assistance program also was being reviewed.
