JannikOJ
Hey there, I just got a quick question for you. Is it at all possible to start a company in Thailand without any employees? I am going to do freelance jobs online and dont need any employees. And i will prefer to stay in Thailand legally and pay tax. I dont need all the details. I will get a lawyer to sort it out. I just need to know if its possible? Thanks a lot! :-)

Sporty
Yes, you can do it... But why? Do your job, and pay taxes in your home county. Make your company there, is what I would do. Lots less hassle, and legal, as long as you pay taxes somewhere. From your post, I am thinking, your are not providing a product or service in Thailand. radioman
I have never understood this connection between 'work' and 'residence'. Home is where the heart is, work is where the money is. Cheers, M.

JannikOJ
So are you guys saying that it is possible - but costly and complicated? I guess the next step is to find a lawyer and weight out the pros and cons. Thanks again guys! OJ

gummigut
Under 50k baht to establish. Then there are ongoing costs of a thousand or two a month to pay accountants. Then there's the annual audit or whatever around 10k. Figuring though if you never done it before, some of the paperwork will get screwed up, so maybe 60k to establish the Company. I've done it a number of times, though the last time solo. <>
