Pescator
[quote=samakor often foreign restaurant owner/chefs are just plain lazy of not capable to translate into thai even with the help of their thai staff. i have also seen very funny or totally missed translations into Thai Or even more so hilarious translation into english. I prefer a bilingual menu, that way I get to take advantage of the two-tiered price system IME, few thais let themselves be disencouraged if they find themselves in a restaurant without a menu card they can read. When it comes to stuffing themselves I find most very resourceful. The missus (who is a good reader in several languages) usually doesn`t even bother to look at menus in LOS why be limited by that? :smirk: Cheers hn
