JungleBunny
Cant go past a bag of grasshoppers after a few beers! Most times when I see a vendor selling bugs I cant resist trying something. Crash999
I was always a bit horrified at the thought of eating bugs. I commented about it to my ex and she asked me why I'm so squeamish, after all I eat crab, don't I? Crabs are basically giant sea spiders, she said. I haven't looked at crab the same way since. ALHOLK
I have tried an assortment of bugs. I don't eat grasshoppers much though as I have heard from several sources that they are killed with DDT. DDT has been outlawed in Sweden (and probably most other western countries) for many years. Pescator
A gogo girl bought me a big bag of deep fried frogs to go with my beer. I think she liked me ;-) Those were most likely "Kiad". Which according to thai people is not a frog, it is a Kiad "Well, it sure isn`t a toad either, so what is it?" "Dunno, but it`s not a frog, it`s a KIAD!" :smirk: hn
Bangkoktraveler
I had the frogs. Didn't look like they were deep fried. They looked and tasted like they were dried out like a prune. The way the world is going, maybe reaching under a rock and pulling out whatever is there maybe the way of the future.
