"Handfunksprechgerät" in Germany

I know it would come in handy for you if this was true :drunk:

The funny thing about us german speaking pricks is hat we make it sound english but noone outside our borders would understand us! I was laughing my ass off because I was just in the phone shop topday and a german bloke with mullet and mustach (they never die out where I come from) was about to buy his way too sexy girl a new mobile phone!

He asked the clerk " You have Nokia Handy, yes?"

I stay there focused on his girls ass in this red little hot pants and I had to laugh so much that I was crying tears. Mulletman asked me "Have you a problem?" I told him it is not called Handy it is called Handicular Phone (hahah) he noted it and said, "I no care that - she make want make money she sell me handy"

I couldn't overhear that he asked for a Hadicular Phone a few minutes later.

Okay enough of that!

cell phone - USA

Handy - Germany

mobile ......everywhere else ?

OC

I have always called it a cellphone and I am from "everywhere else".

Hell, I'm a Geek, most of the people I know are geeks and we refer to the network not the actual handset.

As to the original question, I had family members over last month with UK Handsets, 3 x 500 Baht DTAC prepaid SIMS lasted the 6 of them 3 weeks.

It's funny you claim to be German, but your writing is 100% American style in every single way--usages, etc. And you also say you spend alot of time in NYC. So you were born in the US, but just have german parents or something?

Hahah, lol, 100% american. I grew up in east germany, russian was the 2nd language, i didnt even had english at school, we escaped when I was young and I have learned english on porn webmaster boards and from the TV Show Friends!

You must have overread my grammar mistakes and all the other typoes i make!
