Pat_from_Jersey
Does anyone have a clue how much it might cost for metered taxi from NEP to Patpong? Will they "understand" the word Patpong? thansk

was_usvirgin
Agree with Shygye that the skytrain is the best way to go, in order to avoid traffic. I believe you take it from Nana to Siam, and change trains there to Sala Daeng Station. When you exit, continue walking up Silom in the same direction and you'll find it a few sois up on your right. Getting back is another matter, because if it's late you may have to take a taxi. Just try to hail a MOVING one along Suriwong or Silom. They will understand your destination (Sukhumvit whatever). I can't remember the metered fare, but it can't be much more than 80-100 baht. The taxis that are sitting around waiting generally won't use the meter. Guest
Patpong to NEP is about 60-65 baht if the traffic isn't insane. I've always manged to get meter taxis...just avoid the obvious ones..look a little further and say 'meter?' when you open the car door...
The_Munchmaster
Patpong to NEP is about 60-65 baht if the traffic isn't insane.... So NEP to Patpong should be less coz it's a more direct route.
