Agree with Shygye that the skytrain is the best way to go, in order to avoid traffic. I believe you take it from Nana to Siam, and change trains there to Sala Daeng Station. When you exit, continue walking up Silom in the same direction and you'll find it a few sois up on your right.

 

Getting back is another matter, because if it's late you may have to take a taxi. Just try to hail a MOVING one along Suriwong or Silom. They will understand your destination (Sukhumvit whatever). I can't remember the metered fare, but it can't be much more than 80-100 baht. The taxis that are sitting around waiting generally won't use the meter.

Patpong to NEP is about 60-65 baht if the traffic isn't insane. I've always manged to get meter taxis...just avoid the obvious ones..look a little further and say 'meter?' when you open the car door...

Yes, i guess so, i've just never been in that direction...maybe 50-55 baht...oh and Pat, every taxi driver should understand Patpong, go the Soi Surawong side tho'..
