I've always had a drawer gun (revolver) in the states, it gave me piece of mind. What would you guys suggest since a real handgun is out of the question? BTW I did find help through this board for the required SSA examination. I found a heavy walking stick convinced them of the inadvisabilty of hindering my right of way. Most of the Thai men here carry machete type knives in a sheath, essential tools for farm workers anyway. Also bear in mind that if you hurt a Thai you'll have trouble convincing the BIB that it was his own fault. Flashermac Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 Pepper spray and mace are available in Bangkok. No idea about a stun gun. I doubt if the Thai cops even have them.
