Encore
>Actually there are quite some afternoon gogo bars Soi 13/2 has 2, Soi LK Metro has 1, Walking Street has 4 Soi 6 has 1 and TQ on beach road!< And of course the one in Jomtien, the one and only. Not much choice, but one or two hotties.
bibblies
Well yesterday at 1am even the infamous drink stalls along Sukhumvit were gone. Just winder what is going on... Good! Those bloody things are what started the crackdowns in the farang areas. Before those (and Clinton/Asoke/Soi 10) the scene was more hidden and was not bothered. I mean' date=' c'mon, they are a freakin' eyesore and an embarrassment. No wonder the Thais are upset. Would YOU want that shit in you neighborhood or even in your city in Frangland? Regards, SD[/quote'] I agree with you about Soi10/Asoke/Clinton but surely the drink stalls were a result of the crackdown elsewhere, not a cause of it! I certainly didn't notice them until after the crackdown anyway.
..
B, yer prolly correct, but you get my point! Cheers, SD
Hardy641
I am fully on your side. Ban all these shitty small drink stalls along sukhumvit but pen the clubs and discos. Nevertheless, the disgrace along Sukhumvit isn't the reason of the first social order crusade but its result!!
Gadfly
agree with you about Soi10/Asoke/Clinton but surely the drink stalls were a result of the crackdown elsewhere, not a cause of it! I certainly didn't notice them until after the crackdown anyway. I was going to say the same thing. I also agree that they are embarassing - the law of unintended consequences in action. shygye
Exactly, early closing FORCED the people into the streets! Let the discos and gogos stay open til 4AM and the problem would be solved!!!
Hardy641
Yes it is so obvious that everybody agrees! Thaksin and his sibblings just wanted the nightlife area to move to places of which they own the land. But what are the new guys in power up to. They seem to have another agenda.
