sayjann
not a film but i always liked the TV series 'Tour Of Duty'. for a different view of the Korean War watch 'The Brotherhood'. Korean film telling the story of Family members and people from the same village facing each other during the war........quite harrowing.
Flashermac
"Tour of Duty" ... that VN War TV show? Vets used to laugh their heads off at the stupid things in it. (I remember the hero once shooting a baddie with the 9th round in his 7-shot .45 auto.) "China Beach" was a much better show -- better written and better acted. Not all that believable, but interesting.
unit731
"Swimming to Cambodia" written by Spauling Gray - by far more influential.
