Music in Bars

In fact until now I haven't heard any kind of music played in a bar that I do not like.

Sometimes I ask the DJ to play Tata Young or some Bollywood number, if they happen to have one.

Do you dance Indian-style too?

As in "screw the light bulb, pat the dog?"

Very cool way to dance! :D

Funny nobody mentioned molam. It is the one thing that is guaranteed to wake up a bunch of shufflers into a wild lot of dancers, with the serving girls joining in on the floor. I personally love it, and would have in any day over some of that technocrap with booming base and no melody or words.

Silly logic. >>>

Molam thrown into the mix gives a real sense of being in Thailand, especially if its someones first visit.. Just another example of bar owners in LOS "not getting it"..

Not really I think local music is the last thing guys have on their mind especially as a first time visitor. Something familiar will give them a sense of comfortability is some cases. Not sure how a girl would go dancing to somethig like that while hanging onto a pole.
