TheCorinthian
Can someone give me a rundown? Thanks!
..
It's a fancy disco. Sometimes has live bands. Mostly regular "GTG" girls, but the occasional working girl. I would NOT try to offer money to any girl there -- you'll get you ass handed to you. But you can certainly try picking them up as you would in a disco in farangland. ~B200/drink, ~B500/cover What more do you need to know? http://www.qbarbangkok.com http://www.qbarsamui.com Cheers, SD
junglesoup
I was always under the impression that qbar had quite alot of freelancers in it. Just recall speaking to many feelancers in Gullivers who said they were going on to QBar...
kojis
loads of them... although a few may play a more sophisticated game than charging for STs. Many do though. Don't remember seeing any live band there, mostly DJ and MCs. Great drink list but overcrowded. Used to go there pretty often, but haven't been for about 1 year, was very upsetting to go all the way there to reach at 12 and get kicked out at 1am:(
colorwolf
heaps of freelancers in q bar...cheaper to pick them up at gullibles or the nana parking lot before they head over to q bar...they're easily recognised as they pretend to be secretaries but obviously don't know how to pull that stunt off... better try your luck with the GTGs there, though they get hit on once every 15 seconds or so... no live bands, just overhyped dj's...place closes early and is packed with pathetic posers...you know the kind; they put on a fake guess/versace/d&g shirt and douse themselves in cheap perfume, then pretend to be a "creative" or work in "high finance"...hilarious... cover Bt500 on weekdays, Bt700 on weekends, more when "celebrity dj's" play...this includes couple drinks...which admittedly tend to be very good...as is the music, actually... must say that i haven't been there in nearly two years, though i doubt it's become any less sad...though not quite as miserable as bed...if only these places would attract people instead of posers... enjoy (or, at least, try to)

MooNoi
There's a lot of GTG's out there who have decent money, Belfast. Some have very decent jobsand are spending their own hard-earned. Some are spending Mummy (not Mommy!) and Daddy's money, some are mia nois of rich Thai guys, and some have rich Thai boyfriends, and some have a sucker farang or 4 sponsoring them from back in Farangland. liquidflux
They get raided all the time. It's such a normal thing that it's not even news anymore. Still one of my favorite clubs in BKK.
