I bet everyone will have different answers. To me....Sathorn to Silom....bordered by Rama IV on one end and Charoenkrung on the other.

Will be curious what others say it is....but doubt this thread will get the number of replies a katoey or rimming thread would.

FA,

I think there are quite a few CBD around Bangkok. The lower Sukhumvit would be one around Chitlom and Pleon Chit as there many banking and office towers around here,

Tonson Tower

CRC,All Seasons Place

Central World Tower

Krung Thai(2towers)Bank HQ

I m sure there are many more here, but cant remember...

Then another area is Rama 4, Silom and Chong Nonsi.

Another one which is more out of center would be SCB Park, out near JJ market. Again this has many bank HQ,s and company office blocks. Well you have,

SCB Park

Thai Airways

SOny Ericsson tower

Some banks

Dtac and many others

I think these areas could all be considered CBD areas or commercial areas...Bangkok is a big sprawl and nothing is central. Infact CBD in Bangkok is a bit of a misnomer :D

Anyway, certainly can t walk around them like the square mile in London.
