wonderlust
I'm having the first 2 shots of Twinrix in the UK before I leave (free on the NHS) but I'll still be in Thailand when I need the final shot (6 months after the first). Is Twinrix available in Thailand?
The_Munchmaster
I was going to have been in the same situation last year (didn't happen) and my doctor knew I would be in Thailand when the 3rd dose was due but he never voiced any concerns. elef
I was in the same situation some years ago, but brought it from Sweden and injected it myself.

..
I asked myself the same thing, but I was not too lazy to look it up in Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinrix Cheers, SD
The_Munchmaster
Hepatitis A and B vacination.
wonderlust
Vaccination against Hep A is strongly advised for long term visitors because it spreads through food, water and seafood and most Thais catch it when they're kids (which doesn't lead to serious illness) so they're immune. Nervous_Dog
Arrrr - this is the one you need to take three times?
Pom_Pom
Yes - the one I've had about 6 times over the years (finally got the third shot in the right time period for lifetime immunity). BNH has a specialized travel medicine centre that is probably the easiest option - got my last shot there with no hassles.
