i've never been a fan of motor racing but the last 2 Years have been interesting.

Hamilton was/is a breath of fresh air to the sport after the boring Years of Schumacher.

Mentors called Hamilton lucky but he has been consistent over 2 Seasons of racing and after the disappointment(and imaturity/loss of bottle?)of last Season he took the title after a few thrills today.

i saw the 1st 4 laps and then had to go to work and watched bits and pieces of the race as i walked past the tv.

saw the last 4 laps and the room was packed with staff, patients and visitors.

we cheered as he kept 5th place and then groaned as he slipped to 6th..........

all the talk was of 2 Years in a row he lost it in the final race and then the incredible happened.

the last corner and he retakes 5th spot and gets the points he needed..........

the last race, the last corner made it dramatic.

congrats to him for winning and becoming the youngest champion in history.

over the last 2 Years he has won the most points and that has to be applauded.

the hard part is next Year when he has to defend his title.
