Hellery will run with this to get all the political mileage she can out of it.

The local news said that this gguy was begging to medical help but he is one of the tens of millions of people in the USA that do not have medical insurance, hence, medical help not available to him.

Of course no one remembers that Hellery was going to fix the medical/insurance system in the USA a few years back...until the medical/insurance companies put some $$$ into her pocket.

Watch the Michael Moore movie, Sicko, it says volumes!

Now the stupid cow is again promoting a plan where the problem is solved by *requiring* everyone to buy health insurance, whether they can afford it or not! Don't do it? Then the IRS will garnishee your wages. :banghead: :onfire:

I believe Edwards has a similar "plan."

That is the only way to get universal health care. Otherwise, you will get people who spend their money on designer clothes or jewelry instead of health insurance. Just like mandating auto insurance.

As for the comparison to automobile insurance, we all know how well government mandates have worked there. (Sarcasm intended -- I have seen stats that, in my state, 1 out of every 3 drivers is driving illegally without insurance and auto insurance is *much* cheaper than health insurance).

This plan is not a health-care plan, it's not even much of an insurance-provisioning plan: it's a bill guarantying customers for the insurance company. It's simply a giveaway to the insurance industry, which doesn't want to insure sick people, (just healthy ones) and big business which understandably wants to be out of the health care industry. It takes the costs of healthcare and passing them directly to the person who decides if they should have the operation to extend their own lives or standard of living or not. Everybody under HillaryCare will be forced to buy into plans with huge deductibles. At that point it will all be out of pocket for them and they'll be forced to stop buying healthcare.

As demand is chopped down (at the same rate that Americans are falling over due to lack of healthcare), we'll move down the supply curve until the remaining population is able to afford staying alive. In short, HillaryCare is a mechanism for weeding out the sick people in the economy and planting them under the ground so that insurance companies can make money off the remaining healthy people. Social Darwinism if you will.

Ask yourself why the Hillary, Romney & Edwards plans are virtually the same. Because all the candidates were bought & paid for by the insurance industry.

Just look at Australia as the benchmark, a nice blend of universal coverage and available private care.

Cheers,

SD

OK, now we are off on a tangent of health insurance. I think this guy had health insurance as he forgot to take his meds that day. Lithium.

He was supposed to show up in court for some domestic dispute that very day. His wife dumped him.

Oh, and the US has the highest cost health care on the planet. Somebody's got to do something. No matter what plan anyone comes up with to solve the health care crisis in US, someone will critisize it. The government pays - no - that's Socialism. The individual pays - no - that's govenment mandates. Let people who don't want health care chose nothing. Well, who the hell pays for them when they do go to the Emergency Room? And the Emergency Room is the most expensive type of medical care.

Yes, she's getting plenty of media coverage out of it as expected...

Am I the only one skeptical enough of her sneaky ways to think her people had something to do with setting up the whole thing? :stirthepo

(Of course, she wouldn't know anything about it if that were the case.)
