Toothpaste - Do you . . .

Toothpaste.

In tubes.

It dawned on me years ago that I was wasting toothpaste by just tossing the empty tube when done squeezing.

So, of late, I have been cutting the ends and sides of the tubes and using the tootpaste that remains in the empty tube. Lasts a few more days this way. And the money I save by using this extra toothpaste is put towards another trip to LOS.

I thought I would share this little tidbit with others. So that they can save money too.

There is a lot of toothpaste being wasted out there. I hope this helps those that are also budget minded.

Another toothpaste tube tip for those who don't want to bother with cutting, but don't like wasting paste either. Simply place tube on counter top and use a brush handle or whatever to force remaining paste to top of tube. Afterwards it looks like it has been flattened by a steamroller. Have been flattening toothpaste tubes for 30 years and subsequently retired early. :)
