colorwolf
... ""In the past, society saw this boy in a scary way but I see him as a well-mannered and polite boy," Chaiya, the Health Minister, said. ... brilliant...even the scriptwriters of "the sopranos" couldn't come up with a quote of this calibre... Ed Zeppelin
What ever happened with the case where the boys beat up a college kid? I'm not sure. I do remember a farang guy who got the better of them in Route 66, RCA. He probably doesn't realize how lucky he was.

Tep
Chalerm has worked all his life to become the Interior Minister, and he has many personal issues to deal with. He is known in Thai political scenes at as the 'Warrior of Thonburi', while Newin is the 'Isaan Sourcerer' and Younghyuth is the 'Northern Vassalage'. Anyhow, the Police under Chalerm is not exactly gonna be a joyous cop episode for locals as well as forefingers.. So better think twice before doing stuff these days. Gadfly
and invisible hands. Seriously, I always thought the invisible hand (of the market) was a positive force. Maybe now I understand why there is such a strong and irrational anti-free market bias in Thailand. The metaphor here stands for a real hand.
