I remember posts a while back saying we'll bomb or invade Iran. I was positive that would never happen. Its still not going to happen. Bush can want to all he wants but he can't do it on his own. The Congress has to approve it and that isn't going to happen.

Neither McCain, Obama or Clinton will do it.

There are no Republicans in Congress who are going to push for it. The only voices are Bush and Cheney and they are lame duck.

The Prez as commander in chief can order the military into various places. It is up to Congress to fund the operations or bring the troops home. So far they haven't gone against the Bush Ranger.

Probably just as well, as Congress does very little except fight along party lines on every friggin item that comes up. It's like the parties have a blood oath to oppose each other no matter what. Bunch of retards. BTW, I read that the public's approval of Congress is even lower than it's approval of Bush! Put that in your bong and smoke it.

As it is Congress has it both ways. Bush makes the foreign policies decisions, and if anything goes wrong Congress can say they didn't do it and never really supported it. If it works, they can say they did.
