Was in the Londoner a while back when a couple of regulars strolled in, sat at the bar. The bartender said nothing, but reached into a bucket of iced Heinekens and the guys reached out, felt the bottles and nodded their approval, whereupon the bartender cracked open the bottles served them the beers. Just ask him before you go there.. he'll keep the beer of you choice in a huge ice-chest for you until you arrive if you like it icy-cold (as beer should be!) samak Posted June 8, 2008 Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 since i live in LOS, i am drinking the beer often with ice. i have never done that before. on the other side i got in many bars at many occasions a bottle of beer, that was (partially) frozen solid. the thai solution is usually to warm it up rather than replace!
