Sporty
U.S. Dollar on a roll...now a down hill roll!!! Don't bet your bottle of Blue Pills, on that ! The USD index, will be much higher, at year end. You really can not, go by the Baht at this point, for political or other reasons, the Central Bank is playing around. They can not do that forever, or even till year end.

drogon
The US dollar wil lcertainly continue to get stronger for a bit more time then.....down down down until the day when the USD will be dumped as the still main trading currency... I would love to go work in the USA these days but fear to do so because I don't want to end up being paid in peanuts or monkey money by the end of the year. Sporty
Good Idea, stay where you are, and get paid, 140 to the $, or MUCH MUCH LESS, in the next two years.
elef
IMO the USD will be down around 20 % against most currencies, except the baht which BOT still will keep in the interval 32-35 at the end of the year. Next year after GWB left office the USD will be stronger again and come back to the exchange rates we see today. It's not important who will be the next president in this context. Sporty
GWB, has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT... If anything, because he is a republican, is a plus. No matter the next President, the dollar will be strong thru year end, strong next year, no matter the President. Stronger if McCain wins.

dean
Please post when I can get my 500,000 baht that I have exchanged to dollars for under 34 to one. I think that the official exchange rate would have to ve around 33.80 for that to happen.
drogon
140 euros to the $ within to years? What did you smoke? Reading American newspapers it seems that the contrary might happen. Anyway, I don't care at all as if even it was the case then I would just move to the US. Seems some republicans are blind to the current state of the US economy.
