TheCorinthian
Gods he may be at the airport when I get there in October!! Make sure you practice yelling "WANKER" before you arrive. Shoot for a couple of pints and a free bar fine I could be persuaded to beat the shit out of him. I doubt much would be said by the cops.
Barry
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1046636/First-pictures-freed-paedophile-Gary-Glitter-flies-Britain-NHS-treatment.html STH I think the "heart attack" has given him some bargaining time that he didn't have when he was released and put on the plane.. Now he can demand the UK authorities allow him to come back with minimal fanfare or the media in the plane cabin. Assuming those photographers on the plane didn't all have business class tickets, the cabin crew should have sent them back anyway.
Faustian
The whole thing is farcical...a normal person would've been manhandled and carried onto a plane, kicking and screaming, but oh no, mr ex-popstar washed up pedo gets to strut around and attempt to call the shots. Stick him in cuffs and bundle the shit out of there. Ridiculous situation.
dullnight
"The whole thing is farcical...a normal person would've been manhandled and carried onto a plane, kicking and screaming," In a plane with regular member of public ???? far from sure... remember once on a flight from Zurich to somewhere in Germany, quite possibly Hamburg. I was sitting near the back of the small commercial plane. Two men in civilian clothes were escorting some guy who was swearing in portuguese, they sat the row behind me. The guy was handcuffed but he started beeing agitated. The cops didn't contemplate long a flight with him on board... they pushed him to the door than through it on the tarmac. Remember the other passengers beeing in a bit shock, seeing how he was handcuffed and the at least two meters height between the door and the tarmac he might have ended up a bit dizzy... Anyway I doubt the airline would be willing to take risks. Are they going to sedate the Glitter? Sucks to be famous sometimes, the guy is sure taking more crap than most lower profile folks would in that case.

chelseafan
" Sucks to be famous sometimes, the guy is sure taking more crap than most lower profile folks would in that case. Totally agree. Sick as he is, he has done his time. Contrast this to the guy who was sentenced this week for having 250,000 pix (some of the extememe variety) who didnt even get a front page headline (he must be gutted). The media have gone totally overboard on this.
