Yes he did wrong, but to be made an international figure of hate is ridiculous. What he has done goes on all the time in places like Vietnam, most often by the locals and a few bad westerners. He has served his sentence, what do people want, for him to be executed. If they want that they should elect politicians who enact that, or they should shut up. People unfortunately like to have a hate figure, they would be much better served hating the organised criminals who traffic in humans to make this sort of thing possible. Imagine if you were in Glitters situation, you wouldnt like to be trapped in the duty free at Bangkok airport. If he comes back to the UK he will be hounded whenever he steps out of the door, what sort of life is that for a person to live? If you want a society where people are executed or publically torn apart for the rest of their life, then vote for one. Otherwise let someone who has served their sentence get on with it. The offences which glitter was accused of were teenage girls, and although bad its not as bad. I am not defending what he has done, it would be easy to join the mob and demand that he be hanged drawn and quartered but thats not the rational or right thing to do. I don't know the full details of GG's sex life, only he does, but I suspect it might not be as bad as made out and that the Sun journalists paid people to give evidence against him. I had read somewhere ; that in general he liked teenage girls and many of them were his fans/groupies etc I can remember when I was in High school and the 14/15 year old girls were getting picked up by their 27 year old boy friends, driving the old escort and sporting a mullet. They were always bragging about getting f****d in some country lane. Its no doubt still going on, just 99% of the time you dont hear about it.
