teddy
I was wrong, 2-0 down at half time in their own ground and still no sign of a pair of balls between the lot of them
Faustian
3-0 now....lovely stuff...
teddy
Oops, terrible error from the ref, sends Fletcher off when he actually won the ball and Fletcher now misses the final. Must be seething,
Mekong
Hopefully the Fletcher red card will get overturned on appeal, fortunatley the penalty and resultig goal had now influence on the final outcome. It was funny to see the Emirates only half full at the end of the game, maybe some of the fans had to rush back to Scotlland or Dubai!
Faustian
Indeed, the ref had a nightmare all around...I hope it is rescinded... Still in awe of that third goal though...beautiful. Just beautiful.
teddy
No chance of it being rescinded, that only applies to cases of mistaken identity in the CL so he will miss the final. Amazing that Arsenals ground emptied so early. What was more embarrassing is that they had to follow Chelsea in putting free plastic flags on the seats for the fans to wave in an attempt to create an atmosphere
devils reject
There's still a slim chance that Fletcher will be able to play in the final. If the ref admits that the red card was a mistake and Fletch was wrongly sent off UEFA can rescind the card. Fingers crossed eh?

LOL  I don't think that I've ever seen hordes of fans leave a stadium after an hours play. Pretty sad effort.
sayjann
a masterclass at times.............. men against boys at times............ Arsenal fans i'm sure are disappointed..... but Wenger has been going on that he was building a team that was going to be the best and it's time they stsrted to win trophies. none for 4 years is a poor return for the Club. a season which they qualify for the CL and reach the semi's in 2 major cup competitions is a dream for most teams but at Arsenal being 2nd best is not good enough. teddy
Spare a though for Fergie though, his daughter in law and two grandkids were involved in a head on car crash yesterday. All in hospital and sounds like the daughter in law and grandson are in a serious condition. Hope they pull through, not nice.
