frede
So yes' date=' bargains can still be had in Cambodia, [/quote'] Starting to see quite a few sticky handbags for sale in the Russian market. Ive done a deal with the women so I can have a dirty wank when required.
rickfarang
Having been away from this forum for a while, I am starting to appreciate the reason for the "Bored with Frede" thread. That's all I can say about this. What mall?
Old Hippie
I find decent shopping on Cultural goods, Silk and hand crafts to be good in The Russian Market. Clothes and books and what not, seem better in the Central market. I still have not gotten an answer either...WHAT MALL?
chuckwoww
The only western type mall I know of is the one on 63rd. Street near Psah Tmey. It took a couple of years to build...finished in 2002 I think which was the last time I was in PP..
kamui
They have two malls by now. The mall built around 2004 with fairly cheap goods and the *first* escalators in Cambodia, which seems to be a hit among the Khmer, and a recent built smaller mall which has only one floor and which was almost empty when I went there in January. chuckwoww
You're right...2004. I just checked my passport. It was quite something watching Khmer people trying out the escalator!
rookie
......What mall? As Chuckwoww said, it's on 63rd St. Called the Sorya Mall, is about 150-meters south of the Central Market (Phsar Thmai) on 63rd. There is also a Lucky Market inside the mall. Generally, few bargains to be had, but you can get a lousy hamburger at the fast-food place on the 2nd floor.
