thaihoteldiscounts
...stay here?Off street parking? How far from Sukhumvit walking? Its ok. Not the Hilton but a good price. Guest friendly and underground parking. Not for many cars though. Its quite a distance to Sukhumvit but they have a free tuk tuk service. Its where the Euro Massage is located. khunsanuk
Hi, My parents stayed here in Jan/Feb of this year and quite liked it. The rooms are nice; a bit old, but quite large. They have a nice sitting area as well. Walk to Sukhumvit is a bit stiff, maybe 3-4 minutes, about 5-6 to the skytrain. We've only parked there once, but at that time there was plenty of space. Sanuk! samak
this is a quite new hotel, so not sure why rooms should be old. for 3-4 minutes to Sukhumvit you must walk fast; more like 10 minutes and 15 minutes to the skytrain
shygye
Well, the Dutch are the tallest people in Europe.
khunsanuk
Hi, 10 minutes to Sukhumvit?? Even my parents (who are in their 60s) did it in about 5 The skytrain one may have been a bit too optimistic though. 10 minutes sounds more reasonable. Sanuk! drogon
This place is not a hotel/MP anymore??? You take soi 33 and walk until you reach Sukhumvit main road... About 10-15 minutes walk depending on the heat... I guess the hotel changed its formula or the MP failed (but it was an MP for a long time)
samak
i am not sure what you are talking about! there was never a MP where the Euro Grande is! you mix up with Soi 33? Euro Grande is in Soi 31; at the intersection with the "green route" which goes parallel to Sukhumvit from Soi 39 to Asoke
drogon
Euro inn hotel it was. exactly at the same location... -> so I guess they refurbished the hotel and decided to stop the MP It was in fact a "hotel massage" service (3rd or 4th floor don't remember) but 2-3 years ago the hotel was more of an MP than an hotel. Note: Just got confirmation that euro massage is still in activity on the same 3rd floor of the hotel. Also received the link to the new website: http://euromassage.allabout-thailand.com/ So I guess euro grande = same euro grande as before...just as a sidenote the hotel rooms are still used for the "massage sessions"
drogon
A bit of google to be sure that they didn't build another hotel at the intersection: http://guide.2thebigmango.com/thailand/bangkok/massage/shops/sukhumvit/asok_soi_cowboy/euro-massage/ http://www.sukhumvit-psycho.com/2008/09/euro-massage-bangkok/ I would strongly advise nobody to stay there because it appears they didn't refurbish the rooms since the last time I went there....
