WorldFun
what do you really suggest here - mobile operators to shut all cell towers in & near the airports & thus cutting off all stranded tourists? Definitely I won't vote for you guys even at least you try to take some kind of action LOL - sorry

CTO
WF - They have towers within the airport easy to block - plus normal phone lines should be cut.
Flashermac
I repeat KS's comment WHY is power and water still going to airport???? Put valium in the water and send them to sleep. Then the cops can walk in and cart them off in their paddy wagons.

Mentors
as i said give them 5000 Baht each and they walk away. Most in the Airports are grandmothers and children and jobless people.

WorldFun
as I said do you expect AIS, DTAC, True & the other operators to agree to shut several base stations in AND around the airport? lets say they agree to shut the ones inside the airport & your're likely to achieve: -stranded passengers are going to get even more pissed than they already are potentially being cut off from contact. that would be the same with water & electricity cut! -PAD will have to rely on nearby cell towers (as they can surely reach from at least outside the building) which are then likely to be overloaded & thus causing all kinds of problems to others yet not affected... Basically the mobile operators as private companies are not likely to agree to shut any towers as they're generating handsome revenue as it is & I can't blame them! If say DTAC & True would agree then AIS would refuse & capatilise on it in the best mr thaksin way!!! Just give in & accept there is no easy or obvious way out in this mess even for clever westerners
