radioman
With both the airports under siege I am wondering about imports to Thailand at the moment. A piece I read suggested exports are not happening so presumably no imports either. No mail? No DHL, FEDEX or UPS? Can anyone confirm this is all held up as well? WorldFun
yes I would think incoming gods would be far from at 'normal service' what ever that would mean - reduced service for sure as alternative channels will have to be used if at all... ..
I'd expect issues, but oddly enough. NO mention on their websites... Cheers, SD
WorldFun
received DHL notice at office bit weird sounding like: "bkk airport closure is now extended to 15dec08, but state, military & pure freigter flights are allowed to operate" I guess one could read this as cargo is actually coming in? TIT LOL
WorldFun
actually just did a tracking of recent DHL shipment & indeed they managed to get the shipment from EU in to bkk customs today via SG so freight appear to run as normal meaning cargo flight are arriving at swampypoon :hubba:
