I bought one here in the USA and when I return to BKK I would like to buy one there if they are available or I will take one from the USA with me. Any idea of price in BKK? Not that I want one but your foreign Wii has to be modified to play the games they sell at MBK. At the time (about 18 months ago) they sold Japanese versions and American versions; The Japanese model of course had menus in Japanese. Also the American version came with a 110v power supply. cavanami Posted December 10, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 Just bought one at MBK. 12,000 Baht, already modified to play all games and it came with 15 games of my choice. I didn't shop around that much but some were asking 15,000 so I was OK with this shop. I had them plug the unit in and go thru most of the games to check everything out. All worked fine. cavanami Posted December 10, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 I bought one in the USA for $271 (tax included) so about 9500 baht, with only one game and without the mod to play all the games. So with 15 games and the mod, I was pleased with the MBK price. Also, in the USA, the Wii is very difficult as they are so popular they sell out immediately!
