Let me tell you the true story of Archie Karras, a greek immigrant that came to America with nothing. He was a pool hustler and gambler who generally won at pool and lost at poker. He was in large debt when he went to Las Vegas and went on the hottest streak of shooting dice the world has ever seen, amassing $17mil. At one point, he had all of Binion's Casino's largest denomination chips in his safe deposit box and they had to ask him to lend the chips back so other people could play. He then went on to continue shooting dice and lost it all. He plays low stakes poker now if he can find someone to back him. Not all people are like Archie. cheekyboy Posted January 17, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 my take on the fact that the phone was ON and she took the calls in the hawngnam after a long ring indicates the accomplice had something to gain by the fact he was willing to ignore the rings whilst bonking ,so that leaves only a Thai man in the background .It might have been a farang expat willing to ignore the rings and who was coaching her but i think i will discount that in favour of the Thai BF theory ,who was in on the financial deal for a few bahts ,maybe he was unemployed and happy to chill on a few beers . one of my thai neighbours in issan has a wife who has several times offered to spend the night with me at a local hotel in exchange for a fee as they just dont have the funds to pay for the kids school fees etc ,and its with her hubbies full approval but i always turn it down .and all the local neighbours all knew what she was planning . why does nothing surprise me about LOS any more.. Not answering the phone suggests to me something more serious than ST for money. It suggests she may be trying to hide the fact she has a boyfriend because she's with a potential new boyfriend. I knew one girl who would eat with me, actually she fussed with her food. Once she hit the streets, she would hit up the first street vendor for some 'decent' food. We had an agreement - we stayed together for the kid. Besides, Asian wives are kind of tolerant to mischief as long as you don't stick their noses in it. Just signed the divorce papers two days ago.
