WorldFun
is this your first year following the road stats? since kickoff/focus (3-6 years ago) the numbers have been pretty persistant including the typical statement of 28.69% of the accidents/deaths was caused by drunk driving... WorldFun
sure. not any obvious or easy ways out of it - having shorter and fewer holidays I guess will mean drivers will be even more stressed out to push their luck & if extended the period (this year 1 extra day was allowed) I guess can mean more people will travel & thus end up not much better if at all? read a stickman report that a police 'block' near khorat making a 3 lane road to a 'slow' 1 lane bottle neck without any obvious 'checks' being made only resulted in further stress & agressiveness past the check point - definitely not the way to go
