candyfloss
Went to see this the other night. I loved it. Amazing really, considering I hate the Chris Tarrant TV show, I have no desire whatsoever to spend any time in India, I dislike Indian accents, and don't like Bollywood musicals. However, the acting is superb, the soundtrack is superb, many events make you shudder in horror or disgust, and true love prevails. 9/10.
chelseafan
Good film, but not oscar material, especially when compared to Changeling

CTO
Didn't think it that good - I got confused as the book I thought it was based on is very different from the movie and much more interesting as well as funny. The girl was hot though - but then I have a hard spot for Indian girls
HeartThais
Good film, but not oscar material, especially when compared to Changeling Gladiator, Titanic, Crash, Rain man, Driving Miss Daisy...
Old Hippie
Personally, I thought it was o.k. but really not that great, and the ending was annoyingly predictable.

Old Hippie
Let me add, that what little I know about India, it is/was highly improbable/non believable...and that made it difficult to watch as well...did have it's moments, but left me flat...
