The_Munchmaster
Birdman 2014 - technically compelling, as a lot of the movie appears to be shot in one shot, the holy grail of film students. It's a bit of an actors movie, with lots and lots of 'acting'. Over all, worth a watch. Saw this on my flight to Jordan on Saturday. Enjoyed it but think I need to watch it again, without the pesky cabin staff interrupting me to see if I want yet another G&T.
The_Munchmaster
I also watched Whiplash on the same flight, which I thought was very good, although not sure if I actually saw the end of it!

The_Munchmaster
We Still Kill The Old Way (2014) IMDB - "When retired East End villain Charlie Archer is murdered by a feral street gang, his brother Ritchie returns to London from Spain to investigate." A bit far fetched but an enjoyable watch. Hoodies should be banned btw!
The_Munchmaster
Marvellous (2014) IMDB - "The [true] life of Neil Baldwin, a man who has shrugged off his perceived limitations to live an incredible life." What can I say other than, bloody marvellous. The kind of film that Hollywood couldn't make.
Guest
Runaway Jury, .......... A very old film which has been on the TV before, but watched again as I liked it the first time around. Staring Dustin Hoffman and Gene Hackman. Without looking it up, can't recall the other actors names. As most may already know, about buying a jury in a fictional high profile gun law case.
