Switched over channels last night on TV, and a film was in progress

Last 15 minutes ..... film Unknown ? No idea of what it was about .. The actors name I think is something like "Kurt "

Three women in white car somewhere in the US, chase man in black car and force him off road smashing windows of his car. He escapes but the women follow and continue to ram his car from behind and side. This goes on and he thinks he has escaped, but they catch up with him again and ram car to side. It crashes and they drag him out of car, and in a circle take turns to punch him until he falls to the ground. The last scene was when one of the women stamps on is head.

A Most Violent Year 2014 - Very nicely crafted mobster but at the same time anti mobster movie. Oscar Isaac should have been in the Godfather, Jessica Chastain shines, not fast paced but a good movie. Worth a watch.

Mr Turner 2014 - Engrossing, fantastic detail, really good character portrayals, Timothy Spall should get a prize. Well worth a watch.

Runaway Jury 2003 - In which a Jury is rigged, from two different directions. Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, Rachel Weisz and John Cusack, all good performances. Worth a watch.

Apocalypto 2006 - not the one above - the one where Mayans/Incans do human sacrifice and such. Either the movie I had, didn't have subtitles, or it's made with only the native language. Either way it's such a visually graphic movie it doesn't need English. Very good watch, and surprising that it came from conservative christian nut job Mel Gibson. Well worth a watch.

The Hit 1984 - Jon Hurt, Terence Stamp, Tim Roth - Nicely paced old style movie about a Hit gone wrong, great acting, particularly from Stamp. Worth a watch.

Hangmen Also Die! 1943 - Fascinating black and white movie about Czechs and the Gestapo, the period acting takes some getting used to, but it's engaging never the less. If you've ever wondered what film makers of the day thought war torn Czechoslovakia was like, here you are. Worth a watch.
