The Orville

An exploratory ship from Earth faces intergalactic challenges 400 years in the future. Season 1, 12 episodes, season 2 coming.

Like Star Trek opens at the Comedy Club. Clever show and very entertaining. The Commander has his x-wife forced on him to be his XO...and it only gets better from there. A real rag tag crew.

British documentary series exploring the extraordinary journey of Donald Trump through five decades.

Season 1 only four episodes. Very well done doco. Many of the people that continue to whinge about Trump this, Trump that can easily see that Trump has been like this all his life.

Still On The Run:
The Jeff Beck Story

Perhaps the key to this engaging but at times frustrating portrait of one of rock’n’roll’s most canonical guitarists comes when Aerosmith’s Joe Perry notes, “There’s
a certain amount of
fuck-you-ness to everything Jeff does.”

Several others make a similar point without quite the same succinctness. David Gilmour calls out Beck as one of our most “reluctant” rock stars, the late Sir George Martin describes him as “temperamental” and Beck himself reinforces the judgement by defiantly insisting that folding The Jeff Beck Group two weeks before they were due to play Woodstock was the smartest move he ever made...

Bob Lazar: Area 51 and Flying Saucers (2018)

Former Government physicist Bob Lazar made headlines world-wide in 1989 when he came forward with his account of reverse-engineering an alien spacecraft for the US Military. The reason the public even knows the name Area 51 is because Lazar came forward about the work he did at the formerly secret military base. His testimony remains the most controversial and important UFO story of all time. This film intimately chronicles the challenges and travails of a cosmic whistleblower. Burdened with a revolutionary secret, he had to choose between his oath to his country or his conscience. Corbell's film will explore Lazar's groundbreaking claims and the devastating impact it has had on his life over the course of the last thirty years, including rare and never before revealed footage guaranteed to alter the landscape of the debate. He blew the whistle, shocked the world, then went silent - until now.

At the end of the movie/doco all I could say is hmmmm...I can't remember hearing of Bob Lazar in the past 30 years but there it is...you will have to color it as you see fit.
