I can't think of ANY US airline that has any class, and I was of the same opinion 30 years ago. I don't blame Southwest for operating a successful business in a harsh new deregulated environment, I blame Jimmy Carter.

Just a side note to your Jimmy Carter remark. I was reading yesterday about the educational degrees of the U.S. presidents. Most are lawyers but two, Jimmy Carter and Herbert Hoover, had engineering degrees. Both were awful presidents but both contributed greatly to society with their post presidential public works. Any coincidence?
